Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

The new iMacs, Mac Pros, Magic Trackpad and 27in LED Display may be out, but the new Battery Charger is probably the most surprising new product, guaranteeing that we’ll have plenty to talk about at the next Glasgow MacMacDev.

macMacDevs[67] will be held at Hillhead Book Club (yes, giving them a second chance), 17 Vinicombe Street, Glasgow, on Thursday 29 July 2010, from 19:00 (be prompt to avoid upsetting the staff!) until whenever.

Turn up, talk code, catch a train for the Covent Garden Apple Store opening…

Ni hao! Another week, another new Apple Store opens, and another MacMacDev! This one in Aberdeen, with an all-new venue and, for this month only, on a different day of the week.

macMacDevs[66] will be held at The Coffee House, 1 Gaelic Lane, Aberdeen on Wednesday 14 July 2010 from 18:30 until whenever.

Scott Morrison from Indev will be giving an informal presentation on being an indie developer, and will also talk about Mail.app and some of the cool stuff he has to do to make his mail plugins work.

Turn up (on Wednesday not Thursday!), talk code, enjoy. Hui tou jian!

The iPhone 4 is out – what better way to test the grip of death than the largest concentration of iPhone 4 devices at an Edinburgh MacMacDev?

macMacDevs[65] will be held at Mezz, 49-51 London Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6LX, on Thursday 8 July 2010, from 19:00 until whenever.

Turn up, talk code, remind me that I ought to be getting on a plane to go to the opening of the Apple Store in Shanghai.
